Q: How does a Lightpen work?
A: To
record a visitor's bar-coded badge, depress the 'on' switch
and scan the bar-code lightly from left
to right.
Q: How & when do I get my data?
A:
You receive a printout of the data at the end of each exhibition
day and a final report is sent to you 4/5 working days after the event.
Q: How / Where do I collect my Lightpen from?
A: From the CTS Office/collection point on site. This is usually
situated around the main registration area.
Q: What information will I obtain from use of a Lightpen?
A: Everything from the registration card.
Q: Will I be able to qualify my leads?
A: Yes, by use of the menu card provided
Q: How do I use the menu card & when will I receive it?
A: The menu card gives you 40 options to further qualify your leads. You
simply write your own criteria next to each code.
ie:
actions to be taken / list of products / product interest / groups or divisions. You are
able to swipe as few or as many as you require for each individual lead. These are not programmed
to the pen itself. Your reports will show them as �P� codes �P01�
� �P40� and you then relate them back to your menu card. If the
menu card is lost we can not provide you with anything but the �P�codes, so it
is advisable to keep a copy in the office. You will receive it along with your official
confirmation & Invoice, once your order has been processed.
Q: Do I have to advise CTS of my Menu Card criteria?
A: NO. These details are not programmed to the pens, so there is no need
to inform us.
Q: What format is my post show disk supplied?
A: The file is ASCII comma delimited text file. Instructions are supplied
to enable you to open the file in either Microsoft(TM)Access / Excel or Word.
Q: How and when should I order my pen?
A:
Order at least 2 weeks
in advance of the event. You can order and pay online on our
secure site, or you could print out the order form and forward
it to CTS Exhibitor Services, Thames House, 63-67 Kingston
Road, New Malden, Surrey, KT3 3PB, UK. You can pay by either
Cheque, made payable to CTS or by credit card. BACS can also
be used if necessary. All payments are to be made prior to
show.
Q: When will I receive confirmation &/or Invoice?
A: Once your order is received & processed, you will automatically be
issued with both official confirmation & invoice (stating how/if payment has been
made)
Q: What happens if I am unable to make pre-payment?
A: Payment must be made prior to show, but can be made on-site if
necessary when you collect your pen.
